FOSTER PARENTS NEEDED!

ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE!

Do you love cats or dogs? Can't make a commitment to adopt and care for their lifetime? If you are in the North Houston, Montgomery County area please consider being a Furbaby Rescue Foster Parent. Just email for more information..

Who We Are

We are a volunteer based, pet rescue and rehabilitation organization providing a safe haven for neglected, abused, and abandoned animals. We are a no-kill organization, adopting out healthy, friendly animal companions. We take them to the vet for health checks. We do heartworm tests on dogs and combo tests on cats/kittens. We address any health problems we find and spay/neuter. We evaluate their personalities, and try to find the very best homes that answer their needs.

We are a 501(c)(3) TAX DEDUCTIBLE DONATION. You can feel confident 100% of your donation goes directly to our "furbabies" to pay for the ever increasing vet bills and to rehabilitate these discarded furbabies. NO phone solicitors, NO salaries are deducted, and NO selling of names and addresses to other charities PLEASE KEEP US IN MIND when you are thinking of a charitable donation. Receipts are available on request. We truly thank you from the bottom of our hearts..

We keep the dogs and cats in our homes as “fosters”. We take care of them and love as our own, we socialize them to become good family members for their “forever homes”. If you have the room and love for one of these furbabies please contact us. We are constantly in need of more foster homes. Every day we get calls and emails form shelters about animals that need to be rescued. Without enough foster homes we are very limited in how many we can help. If they are in a shelter they have 3 - 7 days for the owner to claim them or a rescue group to take them. If neither of those happen they can be euthanized. There are thousands of beautiful dogs and cats euthanized every week in the Gulf Coast Area because of overpopulation. There is no logical reason for an overpopulation problem, there are many free and low cost spay/neuter clinics. This is a tragedy and can be rectified easily if people will be responsible owners. We are here to help and to educate the public on proper care and treatment of pets. Please volunteer in any way you can. There is always something you can do to help at your local no-kill/ nonprofit pet rescue organization. These pets deserve the chance for a good life. Please help us help them. Spay or neuter your pet.

Our greatest need is for volunteers to foster animals and possibly provide short term boarding during holidays/vacations when many of our fosters must leave town.

Foster homes provide an inside living area, love, food and transportation to mobile adoption sites. Medications and vet care are provided by the rescue. If you love animals but you can’t make a “forever” commitment at this time, or if your “forever” spaces are filled becoming a “foster home” will be a rewarding experience to enable you to save a life.

Donations are always needed. Gift Certificates, Cash, chew bones and toys, laundry detergent, bleach, Advantage, Frontline, baby comforters, towels, linens, crates, cages, kennels, fencing materials, vet supplies and medicines. Your time and donations are greatly appreciated and we are sure you will find it most gratifying.

At this time we do not adopt outside the Houston/GulfCoast area.

Many thanks Dr. Clara Scott and all the staff at My Family Vet for their assistance in health evaluation, spays and neuters, heartworm treatments and their willingness to share her time, skills and knowledge to help the furbabies.
